Westward Ho... Part 2
CORN! We have seen so many rows of corn it is unbelievable! We drove today, after leaving St. Louis, through Missouri along the Nebraska border and into Iowa. Iowa has many fields of corn and sunflowers. Sunflowers are growing everywhere along the roadway as well! My favorite sight so far. We stopped for the night in Sioux City, Iowa. We have driven 1500 miles so far! The temperature here in 65 degrees! Chilly! Tomorrow we will go to the Badlands National Park in South Dakota and then on to Mt. Rushmore.
